Giving back to the community is important to me. According to the CDC, Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) have the highest prevalence of chronic disease, which is influenced by many factors. 


In an effort to increase health equity among underserved communities and BIPOC, I've worked with multiple schools and organizations to make health education more accessible to kids and adults. 

Why physical activity and healthy eating?


According to Healthy People 2020, regular physical activity and healthy eating can improve the health and quality of life for everyone. Benefits include:

  1. Improvement of cardiorespiratory and muscular fitness

  2. Increased energy levels and brain function 

  3. Lowers the risk of chronic diseases such as heart disease and type 2 diabetes

  4. Lower percentage of body fat

  5. Improvement to emotional and mental health
