Improving health disparities among Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) is a must. Disparities are directly linked to the historical and current unequal distribution of socioeconomic and environmental resources.  For example, it's difficult to have a balanced diet when healthy foods are unaccessible or unaffordable. 


According to the CDC, BIPOC have the highest prevalence of health risks & chronic diseases. Raising  awareness to the prevalence of these conditions is the first step. Events such as community health fairs can provide evidence-based strategies and resources such as health screenings, mental health workshops, nutrition seminars, and exercise & yoga classes that can improve the overall health and wellbeing for the entire family.
